We were at our wits ends,
we did not know which way to turn or who we could
talk to about our financial situation.
Our five
year mortgage was up for renewal and over a period
of time we had incurred some debt including a second
mortgage. We went to the bank we had our first
mortgage with, but it was very complicated because
the second mortgage wasn't up for renewal.
Donna
called us, said she knew our mortgage was coming up
for renewal and she thought she could help us.
I was a
bit reluctant and skeptical because I thought if the
big banks did not have the time to sit down with us
and try and work something out for us, what could
she do?
After
explaining our situation to Donna she assured me she
could help and she would email me some figures we
could look at, see what we thought and give her a
call. We looked at the figures, discussed it
and everything looked so promising we called Donna.
She came
over to our house, sat at our kitchen table and went
over every detail with us, very professionally. We
felt comfortable talking with Donna, discussing our
options. I even joked with her that God must have
sent her to help us out of a difficult situation.
Now we've got our mortgage and most of our debt was
consolidated into one low bi-weekly payment.
